the sky The character of the little king came into being while I was taking an etching class Winter of 2025. The new technique encouraged me to play with narrative and texture. The little king is reminiscent of both a child playing pretend, riding their little red wagon around as if it is the greatest steed, and an adolescent looking back on the freedom and delusion of childhood.
